Charter the elegant 1956 wooden "Lobster Yacht" Jericho, and experience a Northeast Harbor tradition.
Since the rusticators first visited Mount Desert Island, a boat tour and picnic has been a pleasure not to be missed. Jericho was built by Raymond Bunker and Ralph Ellis, renowned boat builders in Manset, Maine. Their designs and craftsmanship led to Bunker and Ellis becoming some of the best known boat builders on the Eastern Seaboard. She was commissioned by Thomas Gates, Jr, former Secretary of the Navy and long time Northeast Harbor summer resident. She is still cared for and enjoyed by his descendants. Since 2016 Jericho has been offered for private day charter. Contact us to plan your delightful day on the waters surrounding Mount Desert Island.
Jericho is named for the bay which lies between Mount Desert Island and Isle au Haut. She can accommodate a party of up to 12 passengers, for a private cruising experience.
