Once you have considered us for your reception, we recommend a visit to the Asticou Inn to meet with our Wedding Coordinator. As it is impossible to appreciate any location and its amenities without seeing it first-hand, we offer a fully guided and detailed tour. Should you decide after seeing our spectacular oceanside property that you would like to hold your event with us, we will book that specific date and time.
PLEASE NOTE: at the time of booking, we require a $1000.00 non-refundable deposit. This deposit guarantees that the Asticou Inn will reserve the specific date and time for your wedding reception and that the Inn's grounds, gardens and common rooms will be available for your use. We will apply this deposit to the cost of the wedding reception. All receptions have some limits to certain time frames and other restrictions, all of which will be explained in detail.
Approximately twelve weeks before the wedding, we should schedule a meeting to discuss menus, beverage service, types of meal service and any special requests. If you will be holding a formal dinner with entree choices, this will give you enough time for the printers to add menu R.S.V.P cards to your wedding invitations. We may need additional meetings as the reception draws nearer to complete all details. A written contract will be drawn up for you to sign, with all of the cost estimates. At this time, 40% of the estimated balance will be due, with another 40% due 30 days prior to your event.
Valet parking is available at $25.00 per hour, per attendant. Babysitters are also available at $10.00 per hour per family. There is a $500.00 set up fee for all indoor and/or deck wedding receptions. This covers all labor involved to reset the dining and common rooms before and after meal service.
To book a block of overnight guest rooms, we will require an additional minimum deposit of $2500.00. If you will need to reserve rooms for your family and/or guests, we suggest you contact the Inn's Front Desk Manager, who will explain in detail the minimum stay and other requirements.
Guaranteed guest count for the reception is due five days prior to the event. If band members, photographers or any special service contractors will be offered meal service, please include them in your guest count. Delivery of place cards and seating chart or any specialty items must be received the day before the reception. All balances for the wedding reception must be paid in full the day of the event.
