The Asticou boasts its own clay tennis courts to work out on, and a heated outdoor pool to relax in. Sailing and swimming are available minutes away, in Northeast Harbor. Hike or drive through Acadia National Park - its Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on the Atlantic seaboard north of Brazil. Shopping is sensational in both Northeast Harbor and nearby Bar Harbor where craft shops and trendy boutiques line the streets. Or, just for the sheer pleasure of it, simply curl up in one of our comfortable wicker chairs and read a good book!

Choose from Three Superb Courses Right on the Island!

Northeast Harbor Golf Club   (207) 276-5335
This classically designed 18-hole course is just minutes from our door and will provide you with a pleasurable and challenging few hours! Mill Brook and our recurring Maine coastal forests protect many of the holes. Golf carts are available for rental, and there is a pro shop. Greens fees are $40 in Spring and Fall, $80 July and August. The Club also runs Ride & Play specials in the Spring and Fall.

Bar Harbor Golf Club   (207) 667-7505
Located in nearby Trenton, this 18-hole course is handsomely laid out and great fun to play! Carts can be rented, and there are a restaurant, bar and pro shop on the premises. In the Spring and after Labor Day, greens fees are $20 for 9 holes, $40 for 18. In the summer, they are $25/9 and $50/18.

Kebo Valley Golf Club   (207) 288-3000
The eighth oldest golf club in America, Kebo Valley has been open to the golfing public since 1888 - just three years after the Asticou opened! Carts are available for rental and there are restaurant/bar and pro shop on premises. Greens fees range from $40.00 in the Spring and Fall, to $76.00 in the summer months.
